A Policy That Goes Further

UK consumer law does not require businesses to accept returns for bespoke, made-to-order products simply due to a change of mind. At Ashford Blake, we choose to go above and beyond—because we believe buying bespoke shouldn’t mean taking a risk.

We understand that choosing bespoke furniture is a deeply personal decision. That’s why we offer The Perfect Fit Promise—a unique returns policy designed to give you the confidence and flexibility you deserve when investing in something tailor-made.

Here’s how it works:

1. Live With It First

We ask that you live with your bespoke item for at least 30 days before requesting a return. Take your time to settle in, experience it in your space, and decide if it’s the right fit—whether it's a matter of colour, size, or simply personal preference.

2. Not Quite Right? No Problem.

If after 30 days you feel the size, colour, or any other detail isn’t quite perfect, you can return selected items covered by the Perfect Fit Promise for store credit, minus a 10% restocking fee. The idea being you can then use your store credit towards another table of a more suitable size, colour or style. Returns must be requested between 30 and 90 days after delivery.

3. We’ll Handle the Collection

Once your return is approved, we’ll arrange a collection from your home—typically within 4 weeks, but often sooner. We’ll keep you updated every step of the way.

4. Use It, But Kindly

We encourage you to use and enjoy your table—after all, that’s what it’s made for. However, returned items must be in good condition, showing no more than minor fair wear and tear.

We reserve the right to assess the condition on a case-by-case basis, and items with significant damage that is beyond repair may not be eligible for store credit.

5. Quick Store Credit Issuance

As soon as your item arrives back with us, we’ll process your store credit within 2 business days. You’ll receive a confirmation email detailing your credit and how to spend it across our website.

6. Use It, Your Way

Your credit can be used on any item on our website and is valid for 12 months, giving you the time and freedom to find your perfect piece.

A Few Things to Know:

The Perfect Fit Promise applies only to bespoke items and does not affect your 2-year manufacturing warranty, which continues to protect you against craftsmanship or material faults.

Your store credit will be based on the total amount you paid after any promotions or discounts, minus the 10% restocking fee.

This policy is valid once per household.

Off-the-shelf items follow our standard returns policy and are not eligible under this promise.

This policy does not apply to any custom items that aren't available to purchase directly on our website without prior consultation.

This policy is valid for 90 days after delivery, after which time returns under this policy will not be accepted.

Store credit is non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
