Programme Overview

Our Table Refresh Programme is designed to keep your bespoke solid wood furniture looking its best year after year. Wood is a living material — it responds to light, heat, moisture and daily use — and even the most durable finishes benefit from periodic professional care.

By purchasing a 1, 2 or 3-year plan, you secure an annual refresh carried out by our team, with longer plans offering better overall value.

Each annual refresh includes:

  • Light sanding back of the surface to remove wear, marks and surface imperfections
  • Re-oiling using the same professional oil system originally applied
  • Restoration of the finish to protect against moisture, staining and daily use

How the plans work

  • Available as 1, 2 or 3-year plans
  • Each plan is valid for one refresh per year only
  • The longer the plan, the more cost-effective it becomes
  • Refresh visits are arranged directly with you and carried out by our team on site in most cases.
  • To schedule a refresh, please contact customer services and we'll be happy to book one in for you.

What the programme applies to

  • Each plan is valid for the item(s) it was purchased with only
  • Any matching benches purchased at the same time as the table are included under the same plan
  • The plan applies only to bespoke solid wood products
  • Where multiple bespoke tables are ordered, a separate plan is required for each table
  • Plans cannot be split, shared, or partially applied across different items or orders

Timeline

  • Standard turnaround time is 6-8 weeks from a refresh being requested.

Additional refreshes

  • Additional refresh visits can be purchased if required
  • Extra refreshes are charged at the current price of the 1-year plan

Validity & transferability

  • Each plan is valid once per household
  • Plans are non-transferable and remain linked to the original purchaser and delivery address

Important notes

  • All maintenance under this programme must be carried out by Ashford Blake or Ashford Blake-approved contractors.
  • Refreshes cover normal surface wear and ageing only
  • Structural repairs, damage, or alterations are not included unless quoted separately

2 Years - +35% of purchase price

3 Years - +45% of purchase price

How often can I use the refresh?

Each plan includes one refresh per year, regardless of whether you choose a 1, 2 or 3-year plan.

No. If your order includes multiple bespoke tables, a separate plan is required for each table.

How long does a refresh take once requested?

Once a refresh has been requested, it can take 8 weeks to complete. Timing depends on location, workload and scheduling availability. We’ll confirm timings with you once your request is received.

What types of wear does the refresh cover?

The refresh covers normal surface wear from everyday use. Structural damage, impact damage or repairs are not included unless quoted separately.
